MST-CAN Trauma training – host MST NL/B

This is the four-day trauma treatment specialisation training for therapists, supervisors, crisis caseworkers and psychiatrists in MST-CAN teams.

You will learn to recognise and treat trauma using effectively proven methodologies, within families where child abuse and/or neglect is an issue.

For children and adolescents, TF-CBT is used as the basis for this. For the treatment of trauma in parents, this is the Prolonged Exposure methodology (PE).

The objectives of the 4-Day MST-CAN Trauma Training are:

• To teach trainees to assess and identify PTSD in clients and identify when treatment for PTSD is warranted
• To introduce Prolonged Exposure as an effective, evidence-based treatment for PTS
• To teach trainees to effectively deliver Prolonged Exposure treatment in MST-CAN
• To provide trainees with practice in delivering Prolonged Exposure
• To be able to assess and identify trauma symptoms in children and identify when treatment for PTSD is warranted
• To introduce Trauma-Focused–Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy as an effective, evidence-based treatment for childhood trauma
• To teach trainees to effectively deliver TF-CBT in MST-CAN
• To provide trainees with video and in vivo examples of TF-CBT

Inschrijven voor een training

Houd er rekening mee dat  je deel moet uitmaken van een MST-CAN team  om de MST-CAN Trauma training te kunnen volgen.

Vereisten

De registratie moet vooraf zijn goedgekeurd door de MST expert.

Reserveringen

Als je als supervisor een plek wilt reserveren voor een nieuwe medewerker in jouw team, neem dan contact op met de backoffice (info@mst-nederland.nl). Bevestiging van deelname dient plaats te vinden uiterlijk 15 dagen vóór de eerste trainingsdag.

Annuleringen van trainingen

Annulering dient per mail te gebeuren naar info@mst-nederland.nl.  Hierbij geldt de verzenddatum.

Bij annulering tot vier weken vóór de aanvang van de training worden er geen kosten in rekening gebracht bij de opdrachtgever.

Bij annulering tot twee weken vóór de aanvang van de training wordt 50% van het tarief in rekening gebracht aan de opdrachtgever.

Bij annulering korter dan twee weken vóór aanvang van de training heeft de opdrachtgever geen recht meer op restitutie.

Please note that you must be part of an MST-CAN team to attend MST-CAN Trauma training.

Requirements

Registration must be pre-approved by the MST consultant.

Reservations

If, as a supervisor, you wish to reserve a place for a new employee in your team, please contact the back office ( info@mst-nederland.nl). Confirmation of participation should take place no later than 15 days before the first training day.

Training course cancellations

Cancellations should be made by e-mail to info@mst-nederland.nl. The sending date applies here.

If cancelled up to four weeks before the start of the training course, the client will not be charged.

For cancellations up to two weeks before the start of the training course, 50% of the fee will be charged to the customer.

In the event of cancellation less than two weeks before the start of the training course, the client is no longer entitled to a refund.
